Burnt Weiners Episode 084 Punisher #1 – Secret Six #36 – Kult #1

Join Bo, Weed and John as they sit down to talk about another week of comics, make fun of each other, and all show their favorite styles of merkins! Oh, look at that large list of comics below . . .

John would like to apologize for his shortcomings on fully understanding Terry Moore’s vision on Rachel Rising #1, and he obviously doesn’t understand how to fully follow a book unless he spoon fed a beginning, middle and ending. ;)

Burnt Weiners Episode 075 Flashpoint #2 – Fear Itself #3 – Reed Gunther #1

DC has big news, and we practically ignore it during the show! Not because we are against it, but more due to the fact that we are all taking a wait and see approach, but Bo will kill people if Lobo doesn’t get his own title and Weed will break arms if Secret Six with Gail Simone doesn’t return. John is gonna slobber on you while you sleep no matter what happens! Plenty of comics to talk about.

The Weiners celebrate some birthdays the Paul Dundee way . . . by reading the kickoff issue to SHADOWLAND! The Hand, Daredevil and Bullseye help blow out the birthday candles, and can’t recall the Banner’s name on the Incredible Hulk TV Show (and it was David, because “Bruce” was “too gay”).

Travis talks about some more metal concerts he attended, John gets pumped for Maleev and Bendis’ return as a working team on Scarlet (Icon Comics).

Weed tells us all about I Zombie (Vertigo), Brightest Day (DC), Secret Six (DC), Dark Rain (Vertigo), Pet Avengers (Marvel), Persepolis (Pantheon), and Dust Wars (Image)! WHEW!
