So I really want to see this film . . . mostly because I am a fucked up individual.

Someone really needs to just make a full length anthology type movie using a similar approach to all of these video games trailers. They are highly digestible in small chunks or watching a ton in a row. This one for Witcher 2 is intense! Look at the arrow flopping as it goes through the air! It kind of reminded me that I need to watch REVEN OF THE NERDS again for for the Javelin scene

This is a slightly better band than the one Steege and I were in . . . nice theme they got going, though. Plus the end gets scary as I imagine Hot Dog Hell would be!

We are based out of Iowa . . . we don’t really have state pride, we just like swearing. Oh, and it is true, most of us wave. No lie.

One of our youngest Weiners (don’t worry, he is still legal) Robb has been featured for a bio by one of his buddies. True to form, he swears a lot, but as a nice change of pace he actually has a message to spread . . .

Robb is in a wheelchair. Deal with it. And don’t feel bad for him at all. You see him at a convention, poke him in the eye really hard and tell him to stop ripping on Grant Morrison. If you don’t do it than we have to, and my thumb is getting tired from all the eye gouging.

So pretty much this is exactly what the game is like . . .

It has consumed me at different points. I am nearly up to 90 hours of gameplay on my main adventurer, and about 40 on my secondary one which says “fuck all” to anything doing with the main quests, or anything more taxing than hunting, running an errand, killing some bandit fucking with a town . . . he is a regular mage/man of the people! It will whip up a sickly potent potion and waste your ass with his dagger if you encroach on his mammoth tusks!!!!

This is the kind of thing I like to see Youtube used for when it is not being used for cute kitten videos.

Sooooooo . . . here is a new commercial from one of of sponsors. Some how it got by our crack team of Standards and Practices and we think they possible are trying to be a little more suggestive in selling their product than your average cola company. Hmmmmmm

The video is right people . . . settle down, everything will be okay. Except for your sister, that bitch is as good as dead because of this!

Behold THE VARIANTS, the Web comedy series that takes you behind the counter of your favorite comic book store.

THE VARIANTS is the brain child of Richard Neal, Joe Cucinotti and Ken Lowery. In early 2009, Richard, owner of the award-winning Zeus Comics, thought all the crazy stuff he saw in his store would make excellent fodder for a comedy series. Seeing the success of Web comedies like “The Guild,” Richard approached Joe and Ken – longtime friends, writers and regulars at the store – to help him develop the series.

The trio discussed and discarded several ideas, including making a faux-documentary-style comedy like “The Office” before settling on an absurd sitcom in the vein of “30 Rock” or “Arrested Development.”

The trio recruited Keli Wolfe and Barry Fuhrman (actual employees at Zeus) to play exaggerated versions of themselves. The group tried a couple Directors of Photography and Editors before choosing Luke Hawkins and Chris Williams, respectively, to give the show its look and feel.
