The boys over at Earth 2 Podcast did a pretty kickass creation of a song from the lyrics found in the story THAT HELLBOUND TRAIN. Give it a listen, both the song and their podcast. Good stuff

What he is using is a digital drum pad, which is small, compact and delivers great sound. Not being a drummer full time, he was unable to play the bass drum part with his hand, and knew he had to use a kick pedal to pull it off. The only problem . . . he didn’t have a digital kick pedal. So he does the next best thing: duct tapes a digital input to a milk crate, jams it up against the desk and rigs the standard drum kick pedal up to smack the milk crate! GENIUS!

The 2010 Girl Talk album, “All Day”, samples several hundred songs, and Wikipedia users have identified and cataloged most of them.
