Today is free comic book day at your local comic shop! Well, if they are participating, but MANY shops do! Perfect time to swing in and grab some comics, maybe check out a few others on the shelf . .  . drop a buck or two into the CBLDF jar (Comic Book Legal Defense Fund).

Here are a few of the comics we suggest checking out, of course, in no particular order:

The no brainer is the Arhaia Hardcover, coming in at 48 pages and including stories from Cow Boy, Mouse Guard, Rust, Cursed Pirate Girl and Dapper Men! Great stuff there.

Oni is bringing Bad Medicine and that looks like an incredible team and start to a series (don’t forget, Sixth Gun started off as a FCBD entry)

Star Wars and Firefly/Serenity comics from Dark Horse . . .  guaranteed to please!

Th3rd World is bringing Stuff of Legend and  Gossamyr to the mix! Killer company with great books!

Atomic Robo and Red 5 have had some of the best offerings in the fun category during FCBD giveaways, I am sure this year will be no exception.

DC and their new all ages title are going to be a sure bet for the fans of Tiny Titans.
