Tyler Ball can’t snipe

This is a picture of my friend Tyler, drawn by the great Michael Brown. I think it’s quite funny even if you don’t know any of the people involved.

Seth Green Vs. Katy Perry – “Geek and Gamer Girls”

I am one of the few rare, socially crippled people who has not heard Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” (although I’m sure it’s a masterwork of songwriting) — and even if the parody singer’s voice is not exactly pitch-perfect, and even if Katy Perry is undeniably smokin’ hot — I am willing to bet cash moneys that this parody video from Seth Green and Break.com is at least 37.88% better than the original.

Interview with Uncle Gibby

Here is an interview on the Onion A.V. Club with one of my favorite authors William Gibson. If you haven’t read Neuromancer you need to. Interview with William Gibson

Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury

Give the lady what she wants, old chap!

Once girls are requesting the cleveland steamer from Stephen Hawking the “sex with an author” thing will have jumped the shark . . .

Songkick – Tour Dates

For many years, I always had to spend hours scouring the internet just to find that some band or performer I really enjoy played pretty close to where I lived (which can be very rare), but I missed it because I had no idea the show was happening! That can be frustrating.

Well it seems some other guys also had the same frustrations and started Songkick, which helps you track bands you like, upcoming shows, shows you have been to, etc.

I am very new to the service, but so far I am very impressed. It is integrated with parts of Facebook, has great search features, and really seems to be set up by people who honestly love their music (plus making money off something you love never hurts).

But once again, I am pretty new to the service. If you have any advice to offer on it, or offer another suggestion of a similar site that I might like, please do so! I am always looking for great resources on music, and any and all help is appreciated.

Mummenschanz on the Muppet Show (1976)

As suggested by Weed, here is an awesome bit that appeared on Sesame Street from the group Mummenschanz who are still touring and performing even today!

Radiangames Inferno Launch Trailer

Heard about this one from the guys over at the Signed In Podcast (check out their show if you are not, it is the bee’s knees). Radian Games has been dazzling me with their videogames they have been pushing out. Joy Joy is great (although I royally suck at it), and Crossfire is very clever. Much different takes on all the twin stick games, and this one seems to be the one most geared at me!

Seriously, stop reading this and watch that damn video again!

Burnt Weiners Episode 041 Justice League Generation Lost #8

Max Lord is up to his old tricks again, but now, nobody but the Justice Weiners can stop him! They do this by obviously reading the latest issue of Justice League Generation Lost, all while balancing flaming barrels upon their chins. Please note John does not gush the whole entire show over a team he loves, instead, he shows his love through interpretive dance (not available on MP3 download).

Weed gets his much needed dose of Moon Knight this month with a Shadowland tie in, and talks a little bit about Green Arrow. Steege loves the 90 minute chunks of Elemental War of Magic he gets to play after be very lucky in snagging the super hot IDW comic Jurassic Park (note sarcasm)

John does finally get a chance to gush, and he does so with Batgirl, and then does even more so with Revolver (Vertigo), the new hardcover from Matt Kindt (Superspy). Bo wraps the show up with some Punisher and Batman talk.

Be sure to stick around after the ending music (which you should always anyways) for the hot new song the Weiners made that will be tearing up the charts, and Bo’s dog getting a little bit sick.
