The Weiners invade Chicago! Okay, “invade” is too harh of a term. Travel to Chicago and set up in a nice hotel and attend comic book dorkery! Check out what they thought of C2E2, recorded the night before it opened and on the firt aand second night of the convention known as C2E2.As an added bonus, there are “rare” recordings of the Weiners getting a bit loosey goosey from some beverages and singing some of their favorite tunes.
Pics of the c2e2 convention will be coming soon to Burntweiners.com

FUCK YEAH, JON!!!! Sometimes people in a powerful position in this world make sense to some of us little, ignorant people, and this guy is one!
Also, another nice read is by Tucker Carlson, who is critical of Jon Stewart and how he handles himself and his show, while calling other people out:

10 Views on C2E2 – Comic Book Resources
Comic Book Resources has a great articles where they ask some of the comic book company execs that were there for C2E2 their thoughts on the event, and for the most part in my opinion many of them were spot on in their judgment, and very, very honest. The potential for the show in the future is huge, especially if companies and fans keep throwing support behind it. I loved the venue they chose to host it, it was supported by a ton of my favorite companies and my favorite groups, and they really catered to everyone having a good time. There were a ton of a panels (actually, maybe a few too many from the vendor viewpoint that kept many people off the floor most of the weekend) and the guest list was impressive.
C2E2 really has a chance to be something great in a few short years, and I for one will be pushing it hard and I hope other fans and companies do as well!

We have some photos and other goodies to share from C2E2 this past weekend, but due to John being a bit of dummy and dropping his laptop right as he got home, they might be a couple days out. This will also put our podcast out a few days late! DOH!
Bo took a lot of great T&A shots at the con being the true pervert he is, so look forward to some of that eye goodness!

Not that it already hasn’t hit… but this article was neat. Apparently “History Girls” are the new hip thing. Most fascinating to me was the bit about how after the economic woes of the 90’s, people began finding meaning to their lives not in their families or careers but in their hobbies.

The Weiners check out Turf #1 and are caught in a crossifre of many words and genres! Travis gets slapped by Bo for not being able to count jellybeans. John is excited for X-Men Second Coming and Atomic Robo, Travis gushes a bit about Sherlock Holmes and The Fourth Kind, Bo continues on his Trek while everyone talks like Worf and even a bit like Arnie, the talk moves to Hackmaster and Fudge, and Weed checked out some Anime kids. More talk about the awesome artwork of Eric Gapstur and the upcoming awesomeness of C2E2!email us at burntweiners@gmail.com

The Weiners are joined by Bo’s older brother Rod to check out the wrap up to Blackest Night! The guys give some of their thoughts on the series as a whole and talk about the ending of Blackest Night and some of the things that might be in Brightest Day. Then the boys also talk about Conan, Iron West, Jonah Hex, Doctor Who, Lobo vs Atrocitus and a few other odds and ends.
*Editor’s Note – The Green Lantern John thought died a long time ago was not Jade, but Katma Tui.
